I’d like to thank everyone who contributed to or attended the Mid-Winter Blues Odyssey. Not all successes can be measured by financial gains and losses. Great weather, great music, and great friends made this year’s party a huge success even though we fell a little short of the break-even mark monetarily. This was not totally unexpected, and while I would have liked to have been able to give large sums of money to our benefit, I am satisfied with the small loss I incurred. The smiles on everyone’s faces are what I am in it for. The jam session starting the third set was excellent. One doesn’t often see a woman singer and flute on a rock stage.
